Curriculum Development

A curriculum is a collection of courses that teach skills required for a particular job. Employees hold jobs, and jobs have curriculums. Well-designed curriculums take a little extra effort initially, but they allow you to unlock the full power of Active Learner to track training and compliance.

Identify Job Requirements Before you can build a job curriculum, you must understand the requirements for that job, including training mandated by government agencies and corporate initiatives.
Build Curriculums Once the job's requirements are known, you can design a curriculum for it. You'll include both required and optional courses and identify which courses are preferred. You can also create course groups that include all the courses required for a particular mandate or skill.
Maintain Curriculums You'll need to update curriculums as job requirements change. This may include adding new courses or new revisions of existing courses, removing courses or deleting entire curriculums.
