What is Active Learner?

Active Learner is a collection of web-based tools that help companies manage their learning environment. A well-trained workforce is critical to safe and efficient operations in process industries, including petroleum, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.

Inadequate training can result in injuries, fatalities, property damage, and fines. Active Learner helps companies track individual training requirements, and allows employees to learn job skills and access procedures on a computer.

Active Learner provides tools for different users:

• Learning Center:  Used by employees to identify personal training requirements and enroll in classes or take online courses and tests.
• Management Center:  Used by administrators to maintain the training database, managers who oversee training operations, course developers and curriculum developers.
• Basys:  Used by subject matter experts and training administrators to create learning programs and evaluations for use within the Active Learner system.
